Hi, we’re Justin and Tatyana Dalme, a husband and wife duo with a love for photography. Currently, our favorite things to photograph are our beautiful baby boys (we’re unsure if they enjoy it).

When we’re not changing poopy diapers or cleaning up cheerios, we enjoy capturing picture-perfect moments for families—everything from family photos, weddings, senior portraits, and more.

Where does your name come from?

When we first met, we learned we both had a passion for photography. After a year of marriage, we finally merged our endeavors into one business.

Needle and Pine are two words that represent us as individuals and the style of photos we aim to capture.

Tatyana loves to cross-stich (Needle), all things fluffy & cozy, and anything that evokes memories of her childhood in the Ukrainian countryside.

Justin loves the great outdoors—backpacking through the mountains of Idaho (Pine), catching monster trout, and sipping a hot cup of coffee next to a mountain lake.

For us, Needle & Pine represents photography with a slower, more intentional, and personal feel. Like a log cabin built by your grandfather or a hand crafted quilt passed down for four generations, we hope these photos become heirlooms of your family history.
